EMT is the entry into the EMT profession and the course, no matter where it’s taught is very challenging and demanding.
Without a solid foundation it is a very difficult course to pass.
The QuickStart® class provides the foundation needed for success in the EMT course.
We cover an introduction to all EMT subjects:
The EMT National Registry Exam is both difficult and comprehensive. When you take EMT exam you want to be as prepared as possible. Even after successfully finishing your course, having an in-depth and comprehensive review is critical to “putting it all together.”
All LifeStart instructors are Nationally Registered and know what it takes to pass the exam.
The LifeStart National Registry Exam Review class is the best way to organize and review what you spent so much time learning.
LifeStart’s mission is to help you pass the exam on the first attempt and we’re so sure we can do this that we offer a unique guarantee.
If you don’t pass the National Registry exam after taking our review course, you can attend as many review courses as necessary over the next year for free and we will continue to work with you and prepare you for success.
The EMT course is a 6 day Formal Recertification course consisting of 48 in-class hours that meets Option 4 of the Texas Department of State Health Services re-certification requirements.
Each course includes interactive classes that incorporate patient scenarios and skills. Our goal is to make your visit to LifeStart an enriching and rewarding experience.
Your time spent at our campus will provide you with an increased knowledge base and more confidence in performing skills you might not be using every day.

24-hour EMT course also meets the remedial requirements for National Registry retesting for those who have either failed the National Registry exam three times, or have waited too long to take the test, and are required to take this course prior to testing.
It is recommended that you combine the 24-hour remedial course with the National Registry Exam Review course in order to maximize your chances of passing the test on the next attempt.
The LifeStart EMT-Basic Course includes elements of QuickStart as well as the EMT National Registry Exam Review course. The LifeStart EMT-Basic Course is designed as a complete package with individual focus and high success rates.
